I am not sure if there is a thread about the Summit already, but are there any of you coming this year?

Yes. But I don't think that you can go to the meal and believe that the tickets cost more.

Apparently this year for the finale the ICB have commissioned a 40 foot wicker effigy of me and there's going to be a bonfire and dancing and singing.... lol

Your just trying to get me there so that they have someone to put inside the wicker man before setting it on fire aren't you!

I've seen the film, I'm wise to your tricks.... But then again, cake...

Maybe not on here, but over 200 tickets have already been sold! The sales rate is up 50% on last year thanks to the huge success of this event and people who attended last year getting in early to book for this year.

Yes non members are more than welcome.

ICB members get a £25 discount, or non members pay £25 more depending on how you look at it biggrin

Hopefully see you there, look out for me and please come up for a chat smile

Dave. do you a deal. I'll turn up at the door and then whilst they're all busy searching for the tar and feathers and key for the door to the wicker man you can nick a few of the Luca's.

Its only a short run to Euston so straighty on a train with the swag and back to the sunny Midlands.

As for humble pie... It may taste like the Ambrosia of the Gods but I'll never know as I don't see myself eating any anytime soon, lol.

all the best,

Shaun.

I think that is the only way I will get my hands on one Shaun, I cant for the life of me think why there is not an award to ICB Course advisor of the year as it is the potential members first port of call, a good advisor who knows his job will gain new members for the institute indeed I must be personally responsible for well over 1000 new members to the ICB and a good 40% of these were looking at other bodies to that of the ICB, yes it is the tutors who get students through their qualifications but without a good advisor there would be no new students to support and no new ICB members, we are as far as I am concerned the unrecognised champions. That's my opinion and I sticking to it. Are you listening to this ICB? Lol Brian from Ideal and I would be sharing them almost every other year lol

Dave

Lol Nick I would but they are locked away in some secret hideaway and even if I found the hideaway I would need the 32 digit vault code and fingerprint recognition so unless the ICB do the right thing and recognise us forgotten course advisors I am only going to be able to look at the pictures of the previous winners. Aint life a crock? lol

Have a good weekend mate
