Head of Business Accounting (Full Time post)

Bircham Newton, Norfolk

£42,200 to £54,612 per annum + Car/Car Allowance


The role

This new role will see you working closely with the Finance & Planning Senior Leadership Team and the wider Finance and Planning community to lead the development of a high quality, customer-focussed centre of advice and excellence to implement a consistent, effective and robust approach to financial management, accounting and forecasting which meets the needs of business areas and is consistently implemented across CITB.


In addition, you will provide a management accounting and financial planning service for Corporate Services and Communications and Change. You will also work across the business to understand reporting requirements and work with colleagues in Business Planning to deliver these requirements in conjunction with the Heads of Finance & Planning.


The requirements

As part of the Senior Leadership Team you will have a sound understanding of all financial accounting considerations, and will as necessary deputise for the Financial Controller.  You will be CCAB qualified (or equivalent) with relevant experience in business analysis and accounting environments.  You will have a high degree of commercial awareness and strong communication and influencing skills, underpinned by an analytical, professional and self-confident approach.
