Does anyone know what number as an agent I should ring to get advice on a clients PAYE affairs.... I keep getting an overpayment notice and it doesn't make sense. I keep going round in circles on their website!

When you call the Agent Dedicated Line, your call will be: given priority and answered faster put through to an adviser who has at least 12 months' experience transferred to technicians if necessary to ensure your query is answered wherever possible during your first call
Yes I am aware of that...... I did phone that number and was told by someone at HMRC it wasn't the right number to call for agents regarding PAYE & clients.
Possibly they don't cover your type of query on that number. Did they not offer you the correct number? Is there a number on the overpayment advice? If not, I would just ring the usual PAYE line and see if they can pass you onto the department that will cover the issue. There are two lines for PAYE and I find neither are helpful, so maybe write a letter!!
