Hi,

I am self employed and work alone full time but I do occasionally have assistance with admin and would like to be able to take the girls out for a christmas meal as a thank you.  Can someone please let me know how much I can offset through my business?

I would imagine that if they are staff though payroll you can follow the normal rules of spending up to £150 a head with no issues, allowable usually through sundry. If they are subcontrators, I might consider showing it as entertaining instead.. be good to hear other thoughts.

I'm guessing that "occasional assistance" means no payroll so entertainment I'd say
