does anyone know why the result for IAB exams take so long to come back, I'm taking the exam with Tyro and the last two have taken over ten weeks to come back.... I'm about to take l3 exam wed and im not confident I will pass so nervous about waiting endlessly for results.
I used to be an IAB marker and we werent given anywhere near that time to mark them, so i dont really know. Ten weeks is really long, even compared to some of the chartered accounting bodies.
Not really an answer i know, but good luck anyway.

With the ACCA it used to be around 11-12 weeks but over the last couple of years its been reduced to approximately 9-10 weeks.
For example, if you take an exam on the 2nd of December (first day of the sitting) you will get them around the 8th of Feb (10 weeks)... Of course, you still get them on the 8th of Feb even if you take them on the last day of the sitting (11th Dec) (9 weeks).
Then again, I suppose 195 thousand ACCA students sitting 358 thousand papers of essay style questions (#1) over an eight day sitting they do have an excuse for taking ten weeks! lol.
All the best,
Shaun.
#1 the above figures exclude the additional 55 thousand students sitting computer based exams.
