accountants certificate - can anyone help???
Permalink Closed

Hi There

Looking to see if anyone can help.

I have a client that is needing an accountant certificate signed for a mortgage application.

I am not a current member of one of the recognised bodies so cant sign it.

Would anyone be able to assist?  They have a meeting with the bank a week on Monday (17th March).

Would need to be a member of any of the following; ICAS, ICAEW, ICAI, ACCA, AAPA, CIMA, CPAuk, AAT, AIA, CIPFA, CIOT, IFA.

If you can help email me on mark@stewartaccounting.co.uk

Would of course be happy to pay a fee for what is needed.

Regards

Mark

Thanks Elaine

In the interim I have spoken to my old boss and he said will do it.

Thanks anyway.

Dont need it!
Call HMRC ask for SA302 for the years you need 3-4 are normally enough, sign the form putting a note on there that your not an accountant, and post.

All mortgage companies prefer to have this SA302 and its a summary of the clients earnings and it shows what HMRC have on file for client. Which negates the use for an accountants certificate!!

And I've had 3-4 such requests, provided the SA302's and bamn! Mortgage accepted! thank you and goodnight! ;)

HTH :D
