VAT on subsistence (including abroad)??
Permalink Closed

Hello

I understand that VAT can be claimed back on Subsistence food/drink (hope Im right!!).  Ive a Director who has been to Finland and Denmark for 3-4 days and has given me a load of receipts for food/drink there, which show their VAT rates - can I claim? Also - how would I key them -  which part of the VAT return should I be reporting them in  (or which T code (in Sage) would I use?)

Tarrrr loads

Hi Stuart
That's a very interesting article! Just down to client wanting to pay for the work, which in this case will outweigh the benefits, but certainly one to watch if more is spent in these counties. Thanks and to Sharon too.
