HMRC Basic Tools 2013-2014
Permalink Closed

Hi

For reasons which I'd rather not go into I need to download and instal HMRC's Basic PAYE Tools

for 2013-2014, but all the links I have found lead you to install 2014-2015. Does anyone know how I

can find the installation files for 2013-2014 ?

Thanks

Eunice

Hi Eunice
I cannot answer your question specifically Im afraid, although might be worth speaking to the online helpdesk at HMRC. I had the same issue last year when I took a new client on who had set up the basic tools, but had made a mistake on his wages but fortunately hadnt done his RTI nor his year end, so I set about trying to replicate what he had done on my own software - took a little while as getting the right reports from him was a bit of a mare, the rest was easy so it worked in the end. Might this be an option in your scenario - maybe getting P11s then upload to your software and doing whatever you need?

Oooo - just found this - MAY be what you need???? https://www.gov.uk/downloadbpt

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
