Recommend Invoice Software thats also links to quotes
Permalink Closed

Hi all,

I have a new client that is lookking for invoice software which he can also do quotes on. He wants it so that the quotes can be automatically turned into a sales invoice when the job has been accepted.

Can anyone recommend any software or online services that can do this?

Thank you

If he Googles 'CRM software' he will find A LOT of programes out there... Some are better suited to different jobs than others, took me a while to find one suitable for my practice. It also depend if they have any invoicing software in place, if they have the likes of Kashflow or Xero a quick look on the supported apps page of the respective sites will show load that will generate invoices off of quotes.

Sorry for delay.. at the moment hes just started so about 15-20 invoices a month. But if it expands as hoped then could be 40-50 invoices a month.
His work is property maintenance. Which one do you use at the moment Gary?

I use Xero for mine, but then I do a lot more as its what I use for the practice. It comes with WorkFlowMAX which I can do time based invoices through.

If he wants something that works the I would say take a look at Kashflow, £10pcm for the mid market version, unlimited invoices, comes packaged with the abilty to do VAT if needed. you can run quotes, email/print to clients then if they accept he can hit a button to turn quote into invoice. Dead simple to use, it is accounting software, BUT its aimed at the cleint NOT you the professional! :D

Freeagent does quoting that you can turn into sales invoices.

See the following link http://www.freeagent.com/tour/estimates

Wouldnt make sense for him to use freeagent, xero or kashflow unless the accounting is also being done on it.  Defeats the purpose.  There might be some stand alone invoicing software that he could get.

Thanks both. Yeah I think he would meddle too much if he had a full accounting package to do the invoices on.. lets just say he's not the most organised! He wnted it so that he just did the invoices and then I can log in, print off the necessary reports to put on my system.

I'll keep looking for a stand alone software, that isn't going to cost him much.
