I've been a bit quiet recently. This is mainly because I've been learning some new website development tools and starting to reinvent my many websites using some of the latest flat design features.
I've not been through all of the details yet but I love the way that the screens scroll to the next one and the very professional feel of the site.
Nice one.
Shaun.

I've had a read through the contents now and its brilliant but, could I just point out the following very minor corrections that need to be made :
On the How it Works page under Keep your finger on the pulse Management is spelt incorrectly.
On the about us page, top of the second column "We can no only" should rread "We can not only".
Also on that page I think that it would look better on the eye broken down into paragraphs.
Hope that helps and as I've said above, overall it looks brilliant.
kind regards,
Shaun.

Thanks Shaun and Alison. I've made these changes. I've been working on a couple of sites for other bookkeepers using a similar, but not exactly the same system. It's one of the pleasures I get from web development that you can take ideas from one project and build on them for the next.
Interestingly we have now got as far away from they sites I hated of the early to mid 90's where the more animated and colourful pictures and flashing lights the better. In a strange way, though, it's more difficult to decide what can be cut to make a site simple. If a picture or word adds nothing, it needs to go.
I went through a similar sort of thing with my own site Kris (there was too much clutter, just felt too busy) although its nowhere near the standard of yours.
You've got me wondering now if there are any page transition options that I may have missed as that really makes all the difference to your site.
My personal dislike is sites where you have a column down the middle full of tiny writing with a pic accross the top and huge borders on either side.
Its the sort of thing that you expect some amateur like me to knock up but more often than not you look at the bottom of the page and see the name of a web design company and I'm just left thinking "How the hell are you still selling sites like this when the public expect so much more?".
All the best,
Shaun.

I use NoScript in Firefox to disable JavaScript and other stuff that is likely to bring up annoying popups and adverts. The site works without it, but there are a few images missing, and it doesn't quite scroll to the right place when you click on the menu. It works fine when I allow it.
It's nowhere near as bad as most sites for this though!
Unfortunately John there are still some things css cant do alone so javascript will still be needed for these. With CSS3 things have come on leaps and bounds with most of the newer browsers relatively compliant.
The good news is that much of the page should still be useable without javascript, just not so pretty.
On the about us page, top of the second column "We can no only" should rread "We can not only".
If that was part of a conversation in this part of the world it wouldn't seem out of place but when written down it seems weird.
I thought it was going to be like one of those websites (similar to Twitter) where the page just scrolls and scrolls and never gets to the end. When you get to the bottom more writing appears. At least on this page there is an end. And if you are scrolling (rather than clicking) you can see in the tab which section you are in.
