I employed someone in May who has now left (we partied to celebrate after she went)

The only P45 form I can find is a pdf and has 'For information only' stamped across it.

I realise since RTI one doesn't have to send the form to HMRC but is this the correct form I should give her?

I also presume P!! is now defunct.

I've spent ages looking through the hmrc help pages without find the answers

I would really appreciate a reply

Hi

Your payroll software should generate the P45 when you process her as a leaver. I wouldn't expect the copy you give her to have "for information only" stamped on it??

The P11 for an ex-employee needs to be kept with the payroll records, as is something that HMRC could ask for sight of if they were to do a paye inspection.
