Import VAT

Just doing the accounts for a subby and he imported some tools from the US back in March.  There is also an invoice from Parelforce for import VAT and Clearance Fee.  The subby is not VAT registered so I'm unclear as to whether the Import VAT can be classed as an expense or not.  Normally if VAT was added to an item you would include the VAT as part of the expense.

Hi John, yes include it as an expense in the normal way.
