Hi
Has anyone had any enquires for you to check a clients work for them to advise if they are doing things correctly? What would you charge if you had this type of enquiry. I know it depends on a lot of other things but just wondered.
Thanks
Stuart
Ive never had that request personally Stuart, but if I did I would probably just go in at my normal rate based on hourly rate. If you have enough info to fix a price then do it on that basis. (Maybe even a percentage for finding errors which lead to successful ways of helping them save money?)

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

My previous employer did this quite often and charged their standard rate for hourly, as suggested by Joanne, with a minimum of three hours. Hope that helps.
