I would like to congratulate all the winners, and would like to congratulate the runners up in each category for their achievement also.

The 2014 winners now join the 2013, 2012 and 2011 winners in the Book-keeping Hall of Fame (www.bookkeepingawards.co.uk/hall-of-fame).

Finally I'd like to thank everyone who participated, nominated and voted in the awards this year. As always the level of participation and interest exceeded our expectations, and I'm very pleased to confirm that the BKN Bookkeeping Awards will return again next year for 2015!

Kind regards,

Well I'm truly staggered so thanks to everyone who voted, and Mystic Shaun was spot on! This means an awful lot to me. Congratulations to everyone else who won or was shortlisted.

Hi Rob,

I've just heard that apparently the day after the Entrepeneurs convention BKN had a surprising influx of votes when apparently every Iphone on the planet simultaneously voted for you... absolutely no idea why?

I've cleverly airbrushed out the knife I had to the Woz's throat as I had him programme Siri to campaign on my behalf!

I know we must but not on Saturday. That'll be useless as I've been invited to try out a new micro brewery in Middleton.

lol Neil. It's a unit between John Lee Fold and Hanson Close. Fortunately their licence is only to 8pm so I emerged relatively unscathed.

Better late than never Foxy!

Used to rent two of those units when we set up the family business Timbo, someone took the roof off and cleared us out of stock and tools during the night. I remember unlocking the door and thinking, wow it's bright in here, oooo look, sunshine.

That's awful to happen but does reminds me of the following joke:

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson decide to go on a camping trip. After dinner and a bottle of wine, they lay down for the night, and go to sleep.

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend.

"Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."

Watson replied, "I see millions of stars."

"What does that tell you?"

Watson pondered for a minute.

"Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets."
"Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo."
"Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three."
"Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant."
"Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow."
"What does it tell you, Holmes?"

Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke: "Watson, you idiot. Someone has stolen our tent!"
