How do I account for this on Sage? The nominal code 2211 has an outstanding amount which is the amount of credit for the employers allowance so far but how do I do the journal to get this to balance out?

I would post a journal to debit the liability in 2211 and credit the Employers NIC in the profit and loss (N/C 7006 in my version).

This should then clear the liability.
