I had a meeting with my very first client today regarding their payroll. The meeting was a success and i am waiting for a call so i can meet the client along with the accountant to discuss the documents i require.
Off the top of my head, this is what i need for processing payroll:
YTD Figures
Employee details
Account office ref/PAYE Ref
Also i am drafting a LEO ready for the meeting and am i right in thinking i need a mlr form of some kind? I have read through the information on the HMRC website but there doesnt appear to be any stnadard kind of document.
Who is your MLR registered with -they normally provide a form to complete for this, you need documented proof of address and photographic ID as a minimum and if a limited company proof of the company address and a copy of the certificate of incorporation as well as the ID for all directors
For the payroll info you need the things you listed as well as any info on court orders , student loans etc -if they have been using software previously maybe the back up if you are processing on the same software
Hi Sharon
I am registered with the Hmrc. I have received my letter confirming I am registered but nothing else.
Thankyou for reminding me about student loans/court orders.
