1st Yr 21days + BH then an extra day per years service to max 25days + BH and an extra day per decade thereafter.
i.e. 15years service = 26days + BH.
Question: P/Timer of 17years service working a 3day week (Tue, Wed & Thur) how many days would this employee be entitled to? Also considering most BH fall on Mon or Fri which would not be within their normal working week and the statutory 16.8days.
Please reply even if it is to acknowledge someone elses answer as Im trying to convince a sceptic!
Assuming this person is on same contract I would suggest 20.4 days holidays. The 16.8 days statutory holidays I agree with and they would include the bank holidays, therefore we need to add the additional 6 days for long service but proportion them to 3/5 which gives an additional 3.6 days holiday to add to the statutory 16.8.
