On the internet, no one knows what species you belong to, until people start encouraging the use of real photos!

I'm also rather confused over my gender, as you won't find the bits underneath that you would expect of someone called John!

Pfft. Mine's always been a real photo of me - and not wearing a stitch of clothing, either.

Ha ha Dave, your comment made me laugh as I come into that category. I met my hubby when we were both articled to the same firm although initially we never used to see each other as we were always out at different clients. However, the time came when I went on an audit with him as his junior and the rest is history........

Yes, it's at the top of a long (long, long) set of stairs on a heavily wooded mountainside about 30km from the city of KhonKaen which is the Thailands second city that nobody seems to have heard of.

Love it there and often ponder retiring to the Isaan region some day.... Think that I've got to do a hell of a lot more self assessments before I get to that stage though!... Considering the final couple of days of January this year I'm also pondering how much I could get for the parts of some of my clients which could speed up both the ability to retire overseas and the necessity for it. lol.

This year was particularly bad with too many clients holding onto the simplest bits of info until the last moment and to be honest the experience is making me look more seriously at the corporate side of the fence again...

Link removed from signiture.

Your avatar image is broken. It could be that you used too large an image.

I appreciate that it was small and light grey in an attempt to make it invisible but it was still SEO from a new member which I am afraid is against the site rules.

Please tell the site a little about yourself, you acccountancy or bookkeeping qualifications, experience, etc. which will enable members to answer your questions going forwards.

Also if you could use your signature line to add your first name so that people can address you properly without going to your profile that would be good,

Many thanks,

Shaun.

hehehe I've actually got three, but I don't think the other one has an avatar.  I didn't use it for long, because I then started using the 111 username.

On the newbie front, it had a very light grey link to some foreign dating site, which Shaun swiftly removed.  (1)

You have to be up very early in the morning to catch our Shaun out.

(1) Must have been the mention of facebookkeepers.com lol.

Oh go on do tell, which is the other one?

Ah but we did catch Shaun napping the other night, with that one who tried dumping a million posts, although we have absolutely no evidence of it now, except I could hear the snoring from here so have recorded it just in case we need proof.

Bad, bad, naughty John.

I note though that you only use one at a time and the only reason for the change is that once an account is created the account name cannot be changed so worry not I'm not going to make anything of it as it's pretty much that you have consecutive rather than concurrent accounts.

We had an interesting one on here some time back who would ask questions, log off, log back in immediately as someone else and answer them... I know this as both of them had the same offshore IP address when I banned them / him / her. I forget the names of the two accounts but I do remember that the person trying to make themselves look like an expert (but only when questions were asked from this one other account) was quite often getting the answers wrong. Lol.

Yes, and I would like to officially thank the eagle eyed night owl who contacted me to tell me that the site was under attack.

First time in goodness only knows how long that I've got to bed before two and those wee miscreant spammers / SEOers were just waiting for their moment.

On the bright side I now know where to buy almost any certification for any qualification plus birth certificates, University degree's, passports, etc. And I can also apparently increase my investment by 800% in one hour if I have just $200k to invest!
