I thought I had better introduce myself as I have posted a couple of times now on this brilliant forum.
My name is Julie and I have been a self employed bookkeeper for many years now.I had done the 9 5 bit and decided that I had had enough of helping my bosses make money and thought I would try it myself. Here I am some 10 + years later !
My speciality is in retail vat, focusing on independent retailers, throw in a few other business from limited, sole trader, cis and my day is pretty much full.
They say that we all have at least one book in us, and my experience in dealing with many different people over the years is destine to be a best seller !!
Welcome to the site Julie, glad you like it. I think its great too and you will have noticed, Im sure, that there are some serious debates occasionally but also some fun! I like the sounds of your book and if you are anything like what has gone before from Merseyside writers it should be hilarious, so go for it!

I have a landscape gardener client who once a year we have this discussion about him trying to put his Sky subscription fees through his books. When questioned why he thinks this is a legitimate expense, the response is ..... I need regular updates on weather as I work outside !
