We have just started offering a cycle scheme and one of our employees has got a bike. I use the HMRC's basic PAYE tools, how do I enter the details correctly to ensure he gets the PAYE/NI savings?
Is it a case of just taking the agreed amount off his normal salary before I enter it on the system, or do I have to tell the HMRC that he is involved in a scheme?
Also, at the end of year does he have to declare to the HMRC that he's received a PAYE/NI saving benefit?
