text books alone or use an online course?
Permalink Closed

Hi,

I'm wanting to revise for the ICB exams in my own time from home. Is it possible to teach yourself using text books alone? Are there any free tutorials online? I'm aware of the courses that can be paid per module but am a bit stretched at the moment. Many thanks if you can advise.

Frank Wood will take you through the ICB syllabus - Although you will need some Accounting software for the computerised bits - Here is a link to download the book free :-

I would also recommend downloading the ICB exam syllabuses and cross referencing them to Frank and doing the exercises. Then buying and doing the online mock exams first to.

A lot of people also self study after buying the Kaplan books from the ICB shop (or else where).

Thank you so much. This will be a great for getting me going alongside the Kaplan book I have. I'll see how I go with the first set of exams and then buy into a course if needs be. Jenny
