Quick question, I should have my MIP licence any day now and when I do I will be getting some business cards made up. I know everything I want to put on them except whether to include MIP. e.g Joanne Parry MAAT would you then also add MIP or write it out in full Member in Practice or is it not relevant?
If you are going to do it (I would) I would keep it as MIP rather than member in practice and anyone that it matters to will know what it means.
Clients don't tend to know what the various letters mean but rather seem more impressed with the number of letters that you can get on the line.
The reason to keep everything as short as possible is that business cards can quickly look busy and cluttered.
Keep them simple, lose the pictures and colours, go for good quality card and professional, readable fonts.
Ensure contact details are readable and include phone(s), address, email and website.
On the phones front I use vonage where you buy a nice to remember number then that number gets routed to all of your real lines. Also helps if you want a telephone number in an exchange area other than the one that you live in.
HTH,
Shaun.
