Expenses coding

Hi,

I have a client whose company is a Film Production Company.  They have bought a fridge as a prop.  What would I code that to?

The cost is £220 with VAT.

I thought of cost of sales as it is part of the scene for filming I would have thought.

It's a direct cost to the making of the film. Do you have props/ materials code?

Will be an interesting stock take. They could've had my fridge for a lot less. I had to pay the council £19 to take it away!

Jo,

if you fancy buying yourself anything at all then I think that buying a film production company first is definitely the way to go.

Knew that there was some reason that James Bond always had the latest Aston Martins.

Hi Shaun
Great idea - I have all the TV station contacts I need to sell the rights to on both sides of the pond. plus Im already sitting on a pile of stock - knackered frridge/freezer, sink, kitchen tap and now a set top box. All broken in the last month and perfect as props. Reckon that maybe I shouldnt be let loose with the Aston Martins? Well James is fully capable of breaking them himself. Did you know that one of the original Goldfinger DB5s used in the filming sold for $4.6 million. The other one was stolen in 1997 from the Boca Raton Airport and has yet to turn up - sssshhhh dont tell anyone - its in my garage.
