I have to complete an annual business survey and they want the turnover including VAT. I cannot for the life of me find a report that will let me do this.
Hi Matt
I think this the sales day book reports is called a daily sales summary report in QB - not sure what filters you can put on it (its not one I use). The report shows one transaction per line with NET, VAT, and Gross total.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.
You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
That report is empty :0 There seems to be a lot of journals for income as it is done through external website like laterooms etc and I think the previous person journalled it in. Maybe that affects the report?
Can't you just look at the turnover in Quickbooks for the period being reported on, and add 20% for the VAT. Provided there's nothing to complicate matters - such as some exempt sales - that should suffice, unless the business survey wants something else/more detailed.
