Would it be acceptable to request that we all have our first name on our signature/on the left? I keep trying to help people and am not sure if I am speaking about a male or female, especially if my post is directed to another poster who has attempted to answer the OP. And a name is always nice to use!

Most of us have our name in the signature, but I agree having the name on the left would be a great idea.
A little work round tip if it helps, click (1) on the username and it'll go to the profile of that poster, and most have their name there. If they don't at least you should know if they're male or female!

Hi John! There's a quite a few with, but also quite a few without. Tried the username at the time but no detail to assist! So thought I'd mention it on a post, cos people probably don't think of it at the time they are setting their profile up.
