I just had that from an American company that I've been working with recently. I sent them a Merry Christmas and they replied with "Happy Holidays!" reminded me of :
Merry Christmas to you too Michelle, hope that you have a great Christmas and a very happy & Prosperous new year,
kindest regards,
Shaun.

It was always happy holidays when we lived in the USA - the kids weren't allowed to send Christmas cards via school - if they had a party it had to be called a Winter Celebration.
Marry Christmas everyone - thanks for all the support over the last year.
Mad times, but just wanted to wish you all the best for the holidays! xx
Wondered where you disapeared too lol. I replied to your email about half hour ago, but the auto responder says you'll be back in January! Have a wonderful Christmas and prosperous 2016 Michelle.
And a very merry Christmas and indeed a prosperous 2016 to everyone on the forum. And Joanne (phew didn't get the names mixed up this time ) you do know that thanks to your avatar I'm now at least 4lbs fatter!! My mouth is watering just looking at it. Is it maltesers covered in cream? Whatever it is it looks absolutely delicious.

That Happy Holidays stuff drives me nuts. What no Christmas cards, oh my the Americans can be barking sometimes....worse still the UK seem to follow them more and more!
Bah humbug!
Happy Christmas to all of you peeps on here, its been another great year and your support, arguments, laughs and general madness have all helped keep me (relatively) sane.
Lol John - you know now what happens to you when you do get our names mixed up.
Thought you might like the piccie - its a Maltesers Christmas Pudding cake. Far too sickly!!!
Cakes - a way to a man's heart!
Although in my case, it was a pal of mine asking for this as a Christmas pressie from her hubby! He was being a dope and ignoring an easy way to earn brownie points until I had a word with him!

Lol, it's definitely the way to my heart. But some serious dieting after the goodies have been devoured, I've let myself go a fair bit this year, and exceeded my heaviest weight from 15 years ago. But Christmas comes first so I'll worry about that in 2016.

did you (your children!) get Poe's black X wing? That one looks really cool.
One of the joke stocking fillers that my 16 (almost 17) year old got was a star wars sticker book and he seems more made up with that than some of his more expensive aquisitions!
Merry Christmas to one and all, hope that Santa brought you all exactly what you wanted.
Shaun.

Hi Shaun
I wish I had got some star wars stickers.
I didn't get Poes X wing although I do really want it, instead I got talked into the Ewok Village as it will be something that my youngest will be interested in, so it's more a present for both of us. Hopefully they will bring a UCS version of Poes Xwing, then I'll be all over it

Which reminds me. On our 10th wedding anniversary my wife came downstairs and found me in the living room crying my eyes out, clutching our marriage certificate. "Whats the matter?" she said, "It's supposed to be a happy occasion" "I can't find the expiry date" I sobbed

Your right Jo. 15 years for murder or life for marraige.
Don't forget the lime John... Rookie mistake when hiding bodies plus you just end up with a sagging patio.
Or maybe thats why there is so much decking around to hide the sagging Patios!
Its all falling into place now.

Ok, competition time. No prizes though (sorry Joanne)
A mans body was discovered under this patio in 1995. The person was a wife beater and sexual abuser and his body lay undetected for two years. In which city did the killing take place and who were the perpetrators? The body was found following an underground leak, when the then occupier dug up the patio to try find the leak.
Well done Steve, it was indeed. For the un-initiated, this was a fictional killing carried out on Brookside, a soap aired on Channel 4 between 1982 and 2003.
Bath Jordache was played by Anna Friel, who went on to become an acclaimed actress.

It's strange how I instantly recognised the back of that house after all this time.
If I remember rightly the trial and conviction were highly controversial, some obviously thought they were justified in their actions to kill him, others believed the law is the law.
I was an avid fan up to the late 90's, but then it lost it's way and I lost interest. I'm a bit in both camps, no-one deserves to be murdered, but he was a despicable character who physically abused his wife and sexually abused his daughters. I think all 4 actors played their parts brilliantly.
