I have a client who is a director of his company. He is the only employee but he doesn't pay himself as he does that from his other Ltd company. I inherited a PAYE scheme and I have been submitting nil returns up to now because he has had a company car. Now he has got rid of the car but he still has private health insurance paid for by the company. Does he still need the scheme because of his health insurance? I know I need to do a P11D but can I do that without a PAYE scheme? Thanks.
Hi Princess
Im not sure about this one and havent done any digging - might be worth phoning them and at least seeing if you can swap the PAYE to an annual scheme if you dont need it for anything else.
