Hi all, my client pays for sage software but seems to be getting more expensive any they now only have about 10 employees. Have had a look at HMRC paye free software and 12pay, but they dont seem to be able to print payslips, which would be a pain. Any suggestions. Need something that also in the future would deal with auto enrolment deductions etc
Can you not print payslips with the paid version of 12pay?
If tyhe client is currently paying for Sage I cannot see them having an issue paying for the paid version of 12pay.
Also look at Moneysoft Payroll which some people here swear by.

The paid version of 12Pay supports about 40 (off the top of my head) different payslip layouts. (including the common Sage layouts so if the client has a stock of Sage stationery they can carry on using it)

If you're looking for auto enrolment then both Moneysoft and Brightpay offer this as standard in their packages.
12pay do an auto enrolment module but that's an extra £121 + VAT. Whichever of the 3 you use they are all excellent products. (I haven't used Brightpay but heard good things, and my opinion on 12pay is based on when Tom owned it, but I don't think there has been any significant changes since)

My vote is with Jay - Moneysoft all the way especially with CIS. The 'flaws' of Brightpay have been mentioned by me on here a couple of times in the past - not sure if they have sorted them yet, indication if I recall was sometime in 2016 so we are probably a wee bit early yet!
