I submitted my first RTI using Moneysoft last week and received a confirmation email from HMRC to say they had received my submission but when i go into my HMRC account it is not showing.
Hi
It can take a couple of weeks. There are two processes that require completing at HMRC when they receive the report and certainly one of them is done manually......how bonkers is that!
Yet another thing that doesn't work properly.

Hi Richard
Added to that, they dont always pass the information on from one employer to another when someone is P45'd out (and just introduce a BR code at what they think is the second job!), yet they fine us lot if we are so much as a minute late with RTI. Bunch of numpties. Its not about getting accurate data in a timely fashion but just a way to beat people with a big stick and get more in fines!!!!!!!!!
How is the new business coming along?

It does my head in, been through a clients paye account today and HMRC have allocated payments will nilly as far as I can tell. 1 month they allocated the Employers allowance, then not the next then credited in in the 3rd!
Its going to take me ages to decipher it all - luckily they are in credit so no fines. Not got time to sort this week it will have to wait - it was only as a matter of curiosity I looked - wish I hadn't!
I know what you mean Alison. They change history too! On my own self assessment it showed overpayments to them, but when they paid it back the so called 'statement' had no reference to them whatsoever. Surely it should still show overpayments and then the subsequent refund. One of my clients paid HMRC FAS (used for imports) instead of HMRC PAYE by mistake. Yes his fault but he phoned them last week, they located the money by last Thursday but have told him it will be 'several weeks' before they return it to him!!!!!! Useless. They do my head in!

its only because I logged in as them at their office. Apparently on the Beta trial you can see it, but on my normal Agent login I can't. Apparently we will all get it eventually.
Joanne - drives mad how hard me and my clients work to get things right and how hopeless they are. Can't wait for the quarterly returns for SA thats going be a nightmare for things like this
I understood that their systems only update twice a month, 5 and 22 of each month and you won't see anything on the client record until those dates. Has that changed?
Leger, you have to log in as the client to see the payments, agents can't see it.
They certainly dont update on the 5th if the last 5 conversations Ive had are anything to go by. Reckon its possibly 'somewhere in between' those dates depending on how they feel/how busy they are.
