Sage 50 Payroll Year End Declaration - Vanished???
Permalink Closed

Hi there - sanity check please!  Has the declaration disappeared from Sage 50 Payroll for this year's Year End process?  The one where you have to say Yes or No to the questions about paying money to third parties, and being service company and if any P11Ds are due?

I've gone through the process as per the Sage website check list but didn't come across the declaration?

It's still part of the process on the HMRC Basic Tools software so I assume (yes, I know it's sill to assume!) it still needs doing??

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks

Victoria

Hi Victoria

The final declaration isn't required any more, and it looks like Sage has not included it, just the EPS submission.

That contrasts with Moneysoft, where the final declaration is there by default, but can be turned off if you don't want to include it.  I included it on all mine.

https://my.sage.co.uk/public/help/payroll/pye/instantpayroll.aspx#tabs-4  Click on process your year end then click end of year submission.

I agree and I included it on mine too and I got all my clients to confirm it beforehand - its a good sense check, but not a requirement.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.
