Hi I have a really old version of sage on an old PC I dont use anymore. I have a newer sage version on a new PC.  Want to install an even newer version onto the same PC to start the set up for a client, but I dont want it interfering with my sage!  I know it can be done, but just looking for some guidance as to how to do it please.  Remember Im a technophobe  please so full numpty instructions required if anyone can assist please.

Thanks folks

Ok - I think its do with adding it onto a new directory, but how do I find out which one my existing one is on? Probably a really dumb question and still looking for help to ensure all the supporting sage files get dumped in the right place.
I do have a 'normal' PC harddrive (whatever that is called) plus a solid state one.

Hi Joanne

Try right clicking on your desktop icon and clicking properties at the bottom.  It'll probably read something like c\program files\sage.

If that doesn't work open file explorer, go to c drive (or your main drive) and look for program files, there may also be program files (x86)  It should be in one of them.

When installing the new sage be sure that you can set the path where you want it installed eg c\program files (x86)\sage v22

Thanks John. I did both methods and confirmed it (also cos I was clearly being a numpty asking the question in the first place, so it should now stick in my head! Such a blond sometimes!! But you know when youve read scare stories and start to doubt yourself?!)

Its current on 'c' as you describe so I can install the new one on my other drive.

Thanks again
