OK, this is just a light hearted muse, but I notice it whenever I do a tax return.

There is no drop down tab for couples living together, you either have to be married or in a civil partnership.

Are HMRC our new moral guardians, I ask myself?

Yes, it discriminates in my opinion. Just like all the Brucie bonuses offered to the married, together with civil partners.
