Hi I have a new client coming to see me on Tuesday who has a holiday let. I don't know much about holiday let accounts at all, I do have another client who has a holiday let but they have an accountant and I only do the very basic bookkeeping for them.
Can anyone suggest where I can find more info on accounts for holiday lets and what expenses can and can't be claimed etc? I'd quite like to know what I am talking about when they come and see me on Tuesday too
Oh you beat me too it Julie - was just about to say there is tons of stuff on HMRC to get you started. BUT dont take anything from a few other google searches without double checking it all out as there were changes a couple of years back!
