Hi Jackie (or do you prefer to be called JP?)

welcome to the site.

we always ask newbies you give a little intro. Not too much, just a bit of background to include if you are working with accountant or for yourself/experience and qualifications/ member of which body, anything else yo wish to add.then we can pitch answers properly.

have you been able to do sage training?  Which sage are you using and which version. Eg sage 50 and which one (standard, prof etc), cloudy sage, sage 200, version eg v22?

Purchase payment is when a payment has been allocated to a purchase invoice. Payment on account is when the payment has not been allocated to any invoices but shows on the ledger.
