Hi Roxy
You have asked this question before and its been fully covered off by Shaun, although I am assuming you didnt see it as you didnt go back to acknowledge the post in any way. See here www.book-keepers.org.uk/t62128805/journal-entry-help/
There are several issues to cover and it is one that will need pointing out to your Accountant at the year end for them to sort out AIAs etc, so if you arent comfortable following Shaun's full instructions it might be good to leave it in suspense as this will then highlight it to the Accountant as having to be included in the completion of all the year end adjustments etc

Oh dont worry - we all have such moments! Reckon the job can get you like that too. I only remembered it cos it was an unusual one, but you would be surprised by the number of people who pose questions on here and never come back on - in fact we have had a fair old few on them in last couple of weeks alone, so maybe its the time of year.
