Sorry a cost and revenues practice exam question...baffled to how to get to this answer
Permalink Closed

Hi, costs and revenues exam tomorrow and as usual I've left it to the last minute to learn the whole text book!

There is a question about re-order levels that I've got wrong and I can't work out how to get to the right answer

CORRECT ANSWER: 33,750

MY ANSWER: 26,900

HOW I GOT TO MY ANSWER: re-order level = (max usage x max lead time) + buffer

11,800 x 2 + 3,300 (I know the buffer working is right as that was the questions before)

And this is the question attached - I couldn't copy and paste it with the snipping tool

Thanks in advance if anyone can tell me how this is worked out
