Which Sage nominal code

Just wondered which Sage nominal code to post to when a cis registered builder uses the services of say a non cis registered carpenter or labourer please.  Would it go to 6000 productive labour, 6002 sub contractor or another code please? Also the builder is vat registered but the labourer & carpenter aren't so will the tax code be T1 with 0 vat or T9 please

Should they be CIS registered? They are subbies so put it to subbies. Also T1 is for VAT, T9 is outside the scope, you need to use 'T0'
