Hi, I've sent a link to one of my clients to buy quickbooks online. I have a feeling they have brought the wrong one as it's completely different to mine. I was going through how to add me as a user over the phone but our home screens are completely different and do not have the same options. (i was logged into another Quickbooks file at the time so I could tell them what buttons to press)

If anyone could tell me what it is that he has bought I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Rachel

If this is an app on an ipad, rather than logging in on a PC...does anybody know how I can manager users from the app please?

Thanks

Lol, sorry, couldn't resist.

You would need to check with your client as to what exactly they have done with the link you sent them and on what media it was downloaded.

Might be that they have downloaded the PC version, then added the app to their iPad.

Or just Downloaded the app and done nothing else. In which case it might also just be the trail version and they start to pay in 30 days.

I don't use quick books, well I do, but only for the local scout groups books, but the latest version available to download on the iPad is v5, but I'm guessing that matches the stuff for PC.

You can change things via the settings icon, although maybe not what you need to. I've not downloaded it to my iPad to take a look, as I don't want to piddle about to get rid of it before the trial is up!

Is yours the cloud version or desktop or the Accountants desktop or cloudy package?

Hi,

If you have sent them the link they need to do it on a PC and not a tablet. The tablet version use to not have as many functions on it unless they have developed it more now.

Get them to re-do the link on the PC, then you should be able to access it.
