Hello, I am getting close to a year end and will be soon performing activities that relates to it. I have a company set up on the 8th of February 2016, so I put the financial start date in Sage as February 2016, which automatically took me to the year end date as 31.01.2017, but HMRC wants the accounts up to the end of February 2017. How can I extend the financial year, or what should I do for February transactions to be included in Sage reports?
Doesnt matter when HMRC 'want' the accounts - what is the year end date at companies house? Is this likely to be shortened or extended by the accountant?
What version of sage?

You said sage 50. It's the version number I need. This tells me what year it was released. V23 is the latest, but you could have one from 2006 for all I know. You will find it in the help/about option far right across the top, screen print the page if you don't know which but you are looking for. Every sage is different, hence why I need it.
I've assumed it's basic sage 50, rather than plus, or pro or anything else, but you can correct me if I'm wrong.
