Hello and Goodbye

Hello all you BKN regulars biggrin

I have just logged on to say hello and goodbye at the same time. As I no longer work in the industry there is not really much point in me being a member on here any longer but I wanted to say thank you to all who have humoured me over the years.

Should anyone wish to stay in touch please pm me with their email address before Friday after which I will close my profile down. Jo Jo I know I still owe you a reply but the subject matter is a tough one to talk about so please forgive my delayed response, I promise I will get round to it.

No longer Dave the Training Link course advisor but soon to be Dave the Civil Servant. I was born wearing a butlers suit lol, born to serve. Its been a blast. One thing I do know is Ideal Schools must love the fact I am no longer working for TL as word on the street is your taking sales from them again. GOD I WAS DAMNED GOOD lol.

Much love to you all and I wish each and every one of your continued success, and that includes you Brian lol. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Dave

Wishing you all the best in your new post Dave, I don't know you as well as some of the others, but you strike me me as a really nice guy.  Have fun.

Stay on here Dave. You've been a good contributor under both of the user names. There are some who really shouldn't be on here(eg rude, ignorant peeps, business owners expecting freebies who then have a pop when you don't say want they want to hear) but you,Dave, should stay, for, if nothing else, you do have some pals on here and some of them might not be along before your deadline. Who will provide Friday fun if you go? Worse still, who will deliver my Milk Tray and shinney up drainpipes? No worries about the email- if its too hard to talk about stuff then don't, just now, instead tell me all about your job!! Chat soon. Jo

edited to sort terrible typos

Davey baby.... Oi, no... You're a lifer on here matey.

There are times when other pressures mean that we can't chat. And there are times when we might not want to chat. Just so so as you always remember that there will always be some of us around on the site and off it when you feel like a chat.

Whatever you do and wherever life takes you matey you always have our gratitude for the time that you've spent on here.

You'll be missed... But I suspect not for long as I'm sure that you're not going to be a stranger (We've still got to grab that beer on the beach in RThailand at some stage biggrin).

All the best bro.

Shaun (At times your Nemesis on here but never not your friend).

Awww Thanks Guys and Doll's I'm touched and that's emotionally and not mentally as many would have you believe lol

Had what can only be described as a beverage over spill which basically means I dropped a mug of coffee over my laptop but after a clean and wash its now back in business. Always been clumsy!

Jo Jo I will send you a private email over the weekend explaining ALL, promise!

Shaun, what a bloke, I could tell you my darkest secrets and I KNOW you would never tell a soul, that is a rare quality to have nowadays, we all like to think we can keep a confidence but reality is not many can.

Yes it is true I did stay off here because of you, never because I didnt like you or see you as a friend, but only because I didn't agree with you when it came to the ICB, got fed up of battling with you and besides I know what a couple of opinionated gits we are lol.

They say you are never too old to learn life lessons and that is so so true. learnt that loyalty at the end of the day counts for nothing. I have watched and seen how for a lot of people when they succeed can become obsessed, angry and arrogant. I have learnt that "off the record" means yes I will listen to what you have to say and then tell the world and his mother lol. Business for me is a real dog eat dog world where you have to have a ruthless side to succeed. I am so glad to be out of it and a lot happier in myself.

I enjoy helping people as it gives me a bit of self worth so with luck my new career will bring plenty of rewards as far as that is concerned. Going to miss the banter but I will keep in touch with a few so stay healthy, good luck and goodbye. Much Love Dave xxx

Sorry to see you go Dave

My mate's son is named Tailor and when I went to see him for the first time as a baby I said "I know why you've called him Tailor"  "Why", he asked. "Because it suits him"  I said  So I can relate to your joke.
