Just wondered what you all like doing away from the bookkeeping and studying.

I find my spare time at the minute took up with revising and looking at a whole host of topics on this site, think I have an addiction. Other than that I like to run OCR races on the weekend.

What is this  'spare time' you talk of?

When you mention OCR I reckon a fair few on here will be thinking Optical Character Recognition!  wink

If I did have any spare time, it would be to sit by a pool in the Caribbean, with a cocktail in one hand and a good book in another!

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

I misread it as OCD initially.

I like the idea of an optical character recognition race, though - optimise the code to make the software as quick as possible, but with time penalties for mistakes, you have to avoid optimising a step too far.

Since Christmas 2015 I've had three books sat infront of me I'm dying to read :

The art of war
One flew over the cuckoo's nest and
To kill a mockingbird.

Trouble is I start reading and I start thinking, I should be reading something technical instead - OCD, I'll go with that!

My spare time is sat in front of the computer watching sport.  There's a footy game on most nights.  When sports not on I watch stuff I've recorded.  Just spent the last few weeks watching the complete Prime Suspects series, which had me completely gripped, and I'm currently watching the 2nd series of Rebus.  I like to read fiction as well but haven't been doing much of that lately.
