Hi All

A client has asked me if I can provide them with the form SA302 for proof of income for a mortgage provider, am I right in thinking that this is just a copy of the tax calculations page that I get when I submit their Tax Return ?

Any help on this would be great     Cheers

Hi Doug
Not all mortgage providers will accept the prints from the calc pages and some only then and/or with accounts signed off if you are ICAEW or ACCA. Used to have to go via HMRC and request one, which they sent in snail mail. Now at least clients can print their own. Depends who the provider is as to acceptance - do you know who it is?

Take a look at these:-

and

Hi Joanne

Thanks for the links

Not sure who the mortgage provider is as this was only sprung on me today, just wasn't sure if they would be happy with me supplying the tax calcs from the online submission or as you say they might insist on HMRC sending the confirmation through in the post which could take ages, I will get the client to speak to the mortgage provider and see what is acceptable.

Cheers
