My boss wants figures for the last 24 months shown month by month from SAGE, and I'll be darned if it will release the information! The sneaky program gave me a little preview and printed some figures but now will not give me anything but totals... any ideas!
Hi
What version of sage? (Year version, from About screen).
What information specifically does he want?
When was year end? Has year end been rolled over in sage?
Might have more questions when you answer those.
Sounds like you may have clicked on one line of data and it needs to be cleared to show the rest. Try top icons - where it says swap and clear, click clear and try again. If that doesnt work, some back with the answers to the Qs.

Are you sure it is version 3? I've never heard of one that old before.
There are a number of 3rd party products that will give you a full 24 month analysis for any two year period you specify - irrespective of what year Sage is in or whether it has been rolled over or not. Most do 30 day free trials. That might be the most painless way to get you all the history you want for no outlay. Of course, we all hope you like what you see so much that you'll continue past the 30 days!
The ones that spring to mind are: Pendragon Systems; Trax UK; Optegra Financials; BVxL; and, Onion Reporting Software.
Hi it is version 3, Sage 50. What I would like to print is a Prior year P&L monthly breakdown.
The year end was February and was rolled over in Sage before I got here so no reports were printed
I had forgotten how difficult Sage was to interrogate
Its just knowing where to look, although have to agree with Ian that I have no idea what version you are using. Can you do a screeen shot from the about page pls?
Do you have access to pre year end backups?
