New Theme for May & June

Hi People,

could I suggest a new theme for the month in support of Manchester based on the the Manchester bee to show a little the sites solidarity and sympathy for everyone  in that great city and everyone affected by the tragic events of this week.

I know for one we have Joanne(Cheshire), Tim(Don Tax), Neil (SpamKebab) and Michelle (Foxy) directly affected but also others on this site who I do not know so well or did not know they were from Manchester who will have children, friends, relatives, friends of friends, etc. who may have been at that concert or directly affected by it's aftermath.

What people such as the scum who did this do not realise that we are a nation that is stronger than anything that you could ever imagine and England does not cower to acts of twisted barbarism such as this which only strengthens our resolve and our solidarity.

Just thought that this was one of the few gestures that we could do as a site to show our support.

Shaun.

There are no words that can truly describe such horrors and the pain that many are going through, not just in Manchester but in many other places where such atrocities take place. One day all humans might learn this is not the way to act, but until then the few will try to destroy it for the many, but will never win.

This, though, says a lot about such a great city and some of the stories about its amazing people are just that - amazing. The power of the human spirit at its best (and replicated the world over, fortunately)

It hasnt affected any of my immediate family and for that I am thankful, but it has touched friends of friends so I cannot begin to understand what they are going through. Stay safe as best you can, wherever you are.

Thank you Shaun for such a great idea.

Two weeks on and this country is turned upside down again by senseless morons.

They will not win.

I stand with Manchester and with London.

My thoughts go out to all those affected and thank you to all those brave enough to run towards the dangers.

Completely concur with your sentiment joanne and as with Manchester my deepest sympathies to those whose lives have been shattered by this random act of hatred.

Be interesting to know what lies behind Theresa's line "Enough is enough".
