Morning all

I was just wondering if everyone else who has their own business is registered with the ICO for data protection, the reason I ask is that mine is coming up for renewal and even though it is not very expensive I did not want to waste money if it was not a legal requirement, the only reason I even knew about it was through when I studied AAT (PETH I think) and I got the impression that I had to register.

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Accountants are on the list as required to register. Yet another 'tax' IMO. You can check to see if it's required by whizzing through these questions ico.org.uk/for-organisations/register/self-assessment/
