Yes, quite possibly right. Oh well, Labour gave it a good shot. Good results even if they didn't win overall.
Poor for seemingly all parties - barring Labour.

And even with Dianne Abbot... Who they seemed to lock away from the media for the last couple of days of the campaign.
Poor ol Theresa... The Conservative party isnt a very forgiving bunch and they're now going to be grabbing their torches and pitchforkes. I don't think that she'll get to fight another election as PM as she wouldn't debate on TV and the country expects their leader to do that.
Big well done to Ruth Davidson though for turning Scotland around.
UKIP now wiped out completely.

Indeed, Mrs. May has had a very difficult night. Will she last five years? The Tories are an unforgiving bunch. What's done is done, let's get a great Brexit deal now.

Should be quite an interesting link up with DUP, I read this morning they (the Conservatives) are trying for a formal coalition. I bet the Lim Dems rue the day they did that, as they paid a very heavy price for doing so. I would imagine though that DUP are more closely aligned with Conservative values than the Lib Dems were.
I do have to say though that the Lim Dems were responsible for raising the personal allowance from around £6700(?) to over £10000, so fair play for that

But they were also responsible for Vince Cable so swings and roundabouts there.

Well, although I'm not a Tory guy, I do feel quite sorry for Theresa.
Will she go as soon as the Brexit negotiations are over?
In my opinion, a Tory minority is worse than a majority.
The Tory party has themselves to blame, it is not correct to blame one single woman for what has happened. The knives are well and truly drawn.
Her team should have pulled her to the side and told her, 'you're coming across as cold to some of the voters, warm it up a bit!' Jeremy, like him or loathe him, comes across as being a warm, genuine guy. (open to interpretation)
She is not as sharp with unsolicited questions, as David Cameron was. Theresa likes to be well briefed and prepared - nothing wrong with that, but folk expect answers.
The days of the tabloids trying to swing an election appear to be over - especially if the youth continue to vote, as most don't bother with the national rag.
The only issue I have with Labour is thus: If a socialist, like Jeremy becomes PM, we would have a nice five years, but a terrible fifteen after that.
So for me, one more crack at the top job with a socialist, then back to the centre thereafter. David Milliband would be my ideal choice.
Will George Osbourne return? Will he be offered a safe seat at the next election? Probably burned too many bridges.
However, we can expect anything in politics!
