Auto Enrolment - Declaration of Compliance

I'm doing my first one, and ok, I might be being a bit thick here but can anyone tell me what I did wrong?  I know that if I change the last answer to 2 it'll let me continue, but I believe I've answered the questions properly.

Hi John

After question 1 the next question should be - Number of staff that have been put into the pension scheme. There should be 5 questions in total. I will screen shot a declaration that I have just completed.

It looks like the pension provider hasnt been picked up so the software hasn't prompted that particular question.

Thanks Nikole, that helped me understand it better.

The question on the previous page said "On the employers staging date (or postponement date), did they have to put any staff into a pension scheme that they also pay into?"  I put no because the two staff members didn't opt in (under the 10k threshold)  It then goes onto the staff details.

Thanks Joanne, you have solved my dilemma, the answer to the last question is 2, maybe I'm being too pedantic but the way the question is worded it should have been 0.  Maybe I should have checked the guidance first though smile

I've found a lot of the questions on that site have been badly worded. Although at least some of their help files do actually help, if you can find them. Unlike most of the government bodies whose answers in a Q&A section just repeat the question but in a different order.....about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Some of taxfilers help screens are a bit like that too!
