Hi all

Completely off topic but after seeing that the number of replies to the post by Gail has reached 77 I wondered if there had ever been more replies to a single post, found one for 58 replies from a post by Amanda but going back to the beginning of this year 77 replies seems to be the most.

Can anyone recall a post longer than this ??

High Doug.

under the old site I'm sure that number of posts was a sort option but now its just guess work. Did a quick search on ICB threads (they were always good for an argument!) largest one that it came back with was this one :

http://forum.bookkeepers.network/t36886491/icb-test-centre-exams/ at 163 posts. Pretty sure that there are larger threads that that one though.

Was quite fun following links and seeing some of the old arguments... No wonder we had so many subscribers, some of the threads were akin to an episode of Game of Thrones when it got into the site attempting to shape the industry.

Not sure if you are trying to insinuate I was under the influence but I'm sure at 14.30 I was fine (Cant remember for sure!)

Hi Shaun

Thanks for the reply quite a good read, seeing peoples thoughts and the discussions from all those years ago and how the thread went from one topic to another and still covering the same stuff that we discuss on here today

I take it that your "Coup d'état" to take over the ICB ended in failure

Cheers

lol, the link between my brain and fingers is at best a tenuous relationship.

Ahhh, the coup d'etat... Its one of those things like seeing a puppy in a pet shop window (they don't do that anymore do they). You just have to remind yourself that a dog is for life not just for Christmas. I'll leave the aspirations of world domination to others whilst quietly sitting on the side lines telling various bodies exactly what they are doing wrong... In the nicest possible way of course.
