They mention such, ie about payments on account in their help files in the two places they talk about changing vat schemes subject, along with how to do deal with the other entries that sometimes cause such problems, ie issues relating to bank reconciled items. Despite that help, it's such a crack handed way to go about changing a vat scheme.

The good thing about such naff software is the help they provide, but so they should When you pay ongoing monthly fees. Both email and phone help is available from Sage One, one up on other cloudy offerings.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
