Afternoon

Wee question cant get my head round it

So i am in Sage 50 Payroll

Employer

Holidays - Payments

Its says 'Accrue Holiday fund as...'

then you have a chose of

'None (no accrual scheme used)

A percentage of gross = Value

A Precentage of holidayable gross = Value

An amount = Value'

What do i choose???

I run a haulage company who gets bank holidays and then their 2 weeks at chritmas (which include stats)

Hi Claire
Sorry but we cannot help you on this forum - this is a forum for professional Accountants and bookkeepers to share information. Also - not many of us use Sage payroll (expensive and there are much better offerings out there). I would have a quick word with your Accountant - they will be able to assist. Or better still - try Sage - with payroll packages you get (almost 24/7) assistance.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

I use Sage Payroll but we don't use that function. Its basically a savings scheme. The firm I work for is a member of Welplan but we don't admisiter it via Sage.

Hi Claire Did you manage to sort out the holiday accrual scheme. If not pm and I'll gladly help.
